Located in the historic gold mining area between Scarsdale and Cape Clear south-west of Ballarat, Hill Farrance Alpacas specialises in breeding fawn and black huacaya alpacas.

 

We breed animals with valuable fleece, sound confirmation and good temperaments. Consequently, Objective Fibre Management is an important element in our breeding program, together with careful selection of sires exhibiting these characteristics.

 

Our herd numbers about 30 alpacas, with Kurrawa and Purrumbete bloodlines being heavily represented. Animals are available for purchase at a range of prices to suit every budget.

 

We believe in value-adding on farm and produce the “Shear Luxury” range of alpaca accessories and garments using our own clip. Yarn is available for sale, along with fleeces for hand spinners. See the  “Products for sale” page for more information.
